“Sometimes the most critical element of design is making sure the minutia of details come together cohesively, on-time and under-budget,” said Michael Norpell, who announced hiring Oliver Girodat as a design assistant. “Oliver brings to my team critical coordination experience in the many bottlenecks of design. With Oliver’s support, I’ll be able to provide amazing designs more efficiently to more of our visionary clients.”

In his new role, Girodat will work under Norpell’s direction, streamlining design workflow within the firm.
“Oliver brings to our team an extensive background in customer relations, retail sales, and vendor management,” Norpell said. Having had roles with Macy’s and Saks 5th Avenue, Girodat has represented brands such as Tom Ford and Kiehl’s. “He provides many complimentary skills, and we’re glad to have him on board.”
Most recently, Girodat served as a design associate for Christopher Kennedy here in Palm Springs. In that role, he provided design consultations for clients, tracked and maintained client relationships, sourced materials and products, and assisted in the retail operations including inventory control, purchasing, and warehouse management.
